Friday, July 10:
2:30-4:30 pm: Discovering Traditional Dauphiné Song
Come (re)discover your local heritage, a joyful and vibrant immersion in the language and musicality of this Dauphiné repertoire! An oral transmission of songs in monophony or polyphony. Open to all. Led by Julie Charpentier, singer, performer, and song facilitator. 20 people max. Price: €15. Information and registration with Isabelle: +33 7 88 00 72 98. Location: La Chalp Village Hall. Cantèra from 5 pm (see description below).

2 pm-6 pm: Create Your Own Song
Songwriting workshop: sung, spoken word, or rap lyrics. Musical accompaniment and vocal coaching. Followed by a stage performance (see below). Limited to 12 people.
Led by Emma and Antonin, musicians and singing teachers.

5-7 pm: Village Cantèra, presentation of the workshop on discovering traditional Dauphiné singing, followed by a shared aperitif. The cantèra is a convivial, collective, and polyphonic vocal gathering centered around original musical forms, played, sung, and danced. Come with your songs in your head or on paper, your ideas, your instruments, and let's celebrate this beautiful and vibrant repertoire! Free and open to all. Location: La Chalp Town Hall.

8-9 pm: Performance of creations from the "Fabrique ta chanson" (Make Your Own Song) workshop. Location: large tent, Camping des Faures.

9 pm: Trio AFLAMA, songs from the Dauphiné region. Aflama – meaning "to ignite" in Occitan – is a highly flammable percussion and vocal trio. Nourished by the poetry of songs, the breath of voices, drums, and bells, the trio revisits the folk music of the Dauphiné. Driven by the energy of joyful polyphony, Aflama leads the way and intends to make every celebration a blazing fire. Location: large tent, Camping des Faures.
