1/ Canals and villages of the Valbonnais - 3-day trip

Description:
3 days of roaming and 2 nights in a cottage for this journey on foot at donkey’s pace. Gentle hike in the valleys of Valbonnais at the gates of the Ecrins National Park. To take the time to discover nature, agricultural life and architectural heritage of Valbonnais. While following the channel of Beaumont, the torrent of Malsanne, observe superb cascades in a wild and captivating valley.

Every day, a nature-based discovery activity in environmental education will be offered for the children with their parents.

Audience:
Adult, families with children from 7 years old.

Difficulty Level:
Easy route suitable for children. 4 to 5 hours of walking and about 300m of elevation gain per day.

2/ Hiking lakes and pastures - 4-day trip

Description:
4 days of walking and 3 nights in a cottage or refuge for this journey on foot at the pace of the donkey to discover the lakes and pastures of Matheysine. Balcony route, walking in the middle of lakes and through the villages of the Matheysin plateau. The walk through the pastures overlooking the lakes and offer magnificent views of the Vercors, Dévoluy and Valbonnais.

Audience:
Adult, families with children over 8 years old. Experience of the desired walk. This route has a few climbs and many flat spots to take the time.

Difficulty Level:
Practice of regular hiking: on average 500 m of positive elevation gain - 6 hours of effective walking per day. Carrying a backpack with picnic, water, fleece and windbreaker.

3/ Hiking around the Taillefer - 5-day trip

Description:
5 days of walking and 4 nights in a cottage or refuge for this journey on foot at the pace of the donkey, through valleys and plateau of a little-known sector of the Ecrins National Park. Varied itinerary, meeting the hamlets and their inhabitants, a very diversified flora and fauna. Crossing the plateau of Taillefer, immense "tundra" altitude dotted with lakes and bogs where sheep and horses rub shoulders. Unforgettable views of the Ecrins.

Audience:
Adult, families with children over 9 years old. Experience of the desired walk. This route has some beautiful climbs and lots of flatlands to take the time. However, there is still a mountain course on certain sections with rocky paths.

Difficulty Level:
Hiking: on average 600 m of elevation gain - 6 hours of actual walking per day. Carrying a backpack with picnic, water, fleece and windbreaker.
