Croix de la Roche - N°42 - Red

A long rolling climb allows first to reach landscapes where the high altitude meadows gradually take precedence over the forest. The route then joins the village of Saint‐Michel before continuing to the Pierre Grosse mountain pass. From there, it will still take a little energy to progress along the ridge on a slow-moving track that continues to gain altitude. La Croix de la Roche, with its exceptional panorama, will reward the efforts. Finally, all that’s left is to engage in the descent in order to complete the route.
