Points of view & shops walk - La Mure's 3 walks

The walk starts at the Tourist Office of La Mure, located at the La Mure Petit Train Station.

Cross the parking lot to the entrance, cross "Boulevard Fréjus Michon" (caution: very busy) and take "Chemin du Bord de Jonche", which is just opposite.

At the first intersection on the left, via "Rue de Jonche", turn right onto "Rue du Bon Repos", which leads you to the City Hall (1).

Next, we suggest the following loop (which can be done in either direction):

With your back to the City Hall, take the "Chemin du Calvaire", a small road that climbs to the "Trois Croix" (14).
Enjoy the 360° view of the town of La Mure and the surrounding plateau.

Continue climbing the path, which becomes the GR 965 ("In the Footsteps of the Huguenots"), to the Croix Fayolla (937 m). A beautiful view of the entire Matheysin landscape awaits you.

Way back down the path towards "Genevray," which leads to La Mure. You will arrive at "Avenue du Docteur Tagnard", along which stands the Chapel of Father Eymard (3).

Continue along the Avenue towards the town center and turn right onto "Rue du Breuil", a lively shopping street (3).

"Rue du Breuil" leads you back to the City Hall, from which you can reach the train station parking lot either by going up "Rue Jean Jaurès" or by taking "Rue de Bon Repos", then "Chemin du Bord de Jonche" (same way as the outward route).
