Association La Doré-Faures

The association was established to take over management of the Les Faures municipal campsite—located in the commune of Valjouffrey on the western edge of the Écrins massif—starting in 2019.
In addition to running commercial operations (campsite and bar-restaurant), the association aims to turn the campsite into a social hub. It achieves this primarily by developing a broad range of cultural activities in an area—classified as a Rural Revitalization Zone—that otherwise lacks such offerings. To this end, the association organizes around thirty events each year (concerts, theater or dance performances, lectures, workshops, etc.), partnering with local stakeholders whenever possible.
